Assoc. Professor Kalin Ivanov, MPharm, PhD is the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Plovdiv. He graduated from the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Medical University - Sofia in 2004. He has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a specialty in "Analysis of Medicinal Products". He has completed numerous courses on highly specialised equipment that is used in the analysis of biologically active compounds. Since 2018, he has been the head of the "Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry" department at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Plovdiv. Assoc. Prof. Ivanov has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has been a scientific supervisor of 3 PhD students. He is also a supervisor of many specialists in the postgraduate specialist training programme “Analysis of medicinal products”. He is a member of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union and the Bulgarian Scientific Society of Pharmacy.
