The research work of the Division Innovative Diagnostic methods is focused on several priority areas:

1. Comparative studies of new molecular genetic methods in the diagnosis of infectious syndromes and diseases with severe course – sepsis, meningitis, pneumonia.
2. Phenotype and genetic mechanisms of anti-microbial resistance in clinically important bacteria
3. Minimal residual disease in pediatric patients with leukemia – modern immunological methods in the diagnosis and prognosis of the disease
4. Immunological aspects and biomarkers of chronic stress, depression and anxiety
