Research Division: Innovative Pharmaceutical Technologies
Description:
The research division “Innovative Pharmaceutical Technologies” is focused on the design of advanced drug carriers based on modern nano-, micro- and macro-technologies to ensure precise and efficient delivery of various therapeutic agents and biologically active substances. The development of innovative drug-delivery systems is one of the leading directions in modern pharmacy and biomedical science. These systems play a key role in improving the efficacy, safety, and targeting of therapeutic agents through controlled drug release and targeted action.
The priority tasks in the scientific division are organized in three main aspects: technological aspect - design and development of advanced drug carriers, including optimal conditions for their production using techniques such as spray drying, emulsion technique, coacervation, electrospinning, etc.; chemical aspect - characterization of physicochemical properties of the developed therapeutic systems, analysis of their morphology, composition, potential interactions, etc.; pharmacological aspect - evaluation of safety and therapeutic efficacy of the formulated systems through preclinical in vitro and in vivo testing.
