She obtained a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and a master's degree in Reproductive Biology in Plovdiv. In 2023, she joined the Department of Medical Biology at the Medical University of Plovdiv as an assistant professor. She participates in the education of students in Bulgarian and English. Her research interests are in the field of metabolic profile of patients with ischemic strokes. Her research also includes the involvement of mast cells and other immune cells in the pathogenesis and development of autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
