Researcher: Chief Asst Prof Radka Cholakova, DMD, DDS, PhD

Dr. Radka Borisova Cholakova works in the Department of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Medical University of Plovdiv. She graduated in 2001 from the same faculty. Since 2002, she has been a specialist in the Department of Oral Surgery. Since 2005, after a competition, she has been an Assistant in this department, and in 2006, she acquired the title of specialist in Oral Surgery. In 2009, she became a senior assistant, and in 2011, she became a chief assistant. In 2020, she successfully defended a dissertation on the topic of "Supernumerary teeth - epidemiological, clinical and radiological studies" and acquired the title of "Doctor". In 2023, she acquired the title of specialist in "Dental Implantology". Since 2024, she has been a chief administrative assistant at the Department of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
