Dr. Kostadin Dimitrov graduated from the English Language School "Plovdiv" in 2011 and obtained his master’s degree in medicine from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 2017. He worked as a resident physician in Endocrinology at UMHAT "Plovdiv" (2018-2022), and since 2022 has been specializing in "Social Medicine and Health Management." Since March 2022, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health, Medical University of Plovdiv.
In 2025, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Mediation as an Approach to Conflict Resolution in Medical Practice" at the same department.
He participates in the international project Orphanet Data for Rare Diseases 2 under the Bulgarian Association for the Promotion of Education and Science (2023-2025), as well as in the European project BUR-EB, related to the socio-economic burden of Epidermolysis Bullosa in Europe (2022-2025).
He is proficient in English and German at C1 level (Certificate in Advanced English; Deutsches Sprachdiplom).
